Here is the latest sign board at my son's school (held at a church):

"Love put us at ease...
Lust leads to dis  ease"

Yes, there is a space in the word "disease" so they can deny they are saying if you have lust in your heart, you'll be ill... but I know better.  These people blow my mind on a regular basis.

Probably written by someone who hasn't gotten any in a while. "Well, at least I ain't out there gettin' an std."  :P
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -cs

I'm going to go make sweet, passionate love to that sign. In protest.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

That is allowed, as long as there is no lust involved :)
The universe never did make sense; I suspect it was built on government contract.

obviously love is better, because with love comes lust.

not usually the other way round, or atleast anything worth having.

The idea that we should always want things that put us "at ease" is a very Christian one. They just don't get it: only really boring people want to feel at ease all the time.

So lame.

I'll take dis... ease over mere at ease any day of the week.  And THRICE on Sunday.

I don't think I mentioned the sign that said,

"Invite a sinner to dinner, but don't indulge his sin."

I guess humping the meatloaf is out of the question?    :raised:

Of course --- humping the meatloaf is all wrong.  You have to hump the pie (ala Jason Biggs).  That's the ticket.....

I'll rewrite the sign to more accurately reflect reality:
Love is an emotional response to a biochemical release triggered by stimuli that's innately responded to.
Lust is an emotional response to a biochemical release triggered by stimuli that's innately responded to.
Ignorance is flagrant evangelism on a school sign, symptomatic of a "dis ease" of the mind.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

Speak for yourself. I wanna hump the meatloaf.
